E. J. Barnes's <a href="http://www.ejbarnes.com/lb.html"><em>Leatherwing Bat</em></a> will be among the short films shown that evening, in a program that also includes work by the late great <a href="http://mysite.verizon.net/karen.aqua/ ">Karen Aqua</a>. This year's showing of Somerville In Shorts is dedicated to her memory.</p> <p>The program starts with live music at 7:30pm, followed by the films at 8:30. J.'s table at the Cambridge Holly Fair last week found her running critically low on copies of the Leatherwing Bat DVD. Some were disappointed that she only had a demo copy left! </p><p>You will, she hopes, be pleased to know that new Leatherwing Bat DVDs have come in time for the Somerville Local Artists Market (S.L.A.M.) at the Burren Pub in Davis Square, Somerville, MA. E. J. will have a table at this craft fair in the Burren's back room from noon to 4pm on Saturday, 18 December.
