Cartoonist, illustrator, and animator E. J. Barnes will be opening her home studio at 18 Chalk Street to the public Saturday and Sunday, 22--23 May, during Cambridge Open Studios/Central.

Cambridge Open Studios is an annual event organized by the Cambridge Arts Council, an agency of Cambridge City Hall. Different parts of Cambridge hold their Open Studios on different weekends; the Central (Central Square/Inman Square/Cambridgeport) Open Studios are the last weekend of this event. This weekend, E. J. will be one of over 70 artists in the area between Harvard and MIT whose studios will welcome the public with free refreshments and art on view. Look for the yellow COS signs to find us.

In addition to original art, E. J. will be offering for sale her comics, postcards, posters, and DVDs of her animation.
